Essential tasks will include:
- Collecting and updating attendance records from teachers and other staff
- Using a digital management system to record attendance and related information
- Coordinating with parents, students, and administrators to resolve attendance issues
- Reporting truancy and tardiness problems
- Creating and sending attendance reports and documents
- Frequently communicate with school social worker/truancy officer
Skills needed:
- Use of basic office software including but not limited to: Google Suite, Google Chrome, PowerSchool, & Microsoft Office
- Great communcation skills with students, parents, and school administrators
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Manages time well to ensure tasks are completed on a strict time schedule
